Welcome To Abbott Acres Resort
On beautiful Stony Lake, Hackensack, Minnesota


We are a family owned resort located on Stony Lake. Our peaceful, rustic setting is just minutes away from Hackensack, Deep Portage Conservation Reserve and the North Country Trail in Northern Minnesota.

Originally established by Bud and Bea Abbott in 1955, the resort is now owned and operated by Buck and Lucille Abbott and their family.

Lucille and Buck Abbott are always there to great you with a friendly smile.

Over the years we have transitioned from weekly to seasonal rentals, offering a private and quiet get-a-way. Three of our cabins are currently rented by the season, leaving The Log Cabin and The Honeymoon available for either weekly or seasonal rental.


The Road into the beautiful resort

All cabins are housekeeping cabins with showers, bed linens and cooking utensils provided. Please bring your own kitchen towels, bath towels, bath soap and dish soap. A fishing boat is included in the cabin rent, motor rental is extra. A fish cleaning house is available for guest use.

Stony Lake is a 595 acre lake that has 7.12 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 50 ft. There is a public access on the South shore of the lake. Fish population includes walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, crappies and blue gills.
